ABOUT OUR FOUNDATION

Sneakers for Senegal is a direct branch of the non-profit organization, Open International. The goal of Open International is to provide the children of Nioro, Senegal with a quality education. We strive to inspire and improve the lives of those who are less fortunate. Allowing the children to continue their education provides the opportunity to escape poverty and hopelessness. HOW WE HELP

Many families are unable to afford to send their children to school. If the children are fortunate enough to attend school, Adja Penda Ba is one of the only schools in Nioro and the surrounding area, so many of the students have to walk up to five miles to school every day. These students often do not have shoes, so they either walk barefoot or wrap their feet in duct tape.

Our work as Sneakers for Senegal is dedicated to helping the children who attend Adja Penda Ba. We strive to help fund their tuition and to send them the donations they need.
